Author Bio:
Jennie M. Bragaw was born in Fresno, California, and spent much of her childhood in the San Joaquin Valley, where she was often pulled from school to work in the fields. As a child, she and her family worked the fields from Salinas, California, to Yuma, Arizona. She has lived and traveled throughout the United States and in Europe. She has worked as an elementary school teacher and raised two children. She participated in two author panels regarding children’s literature at the Latino Book and Family Festival at California State University in San Bernardino, California. She travels extensively throughout California reading her books to children and donating her books to libraries, schools, and homes for children. Her new book, Joaquin’s Realm, will be published and available as Christmas gifts this year.
