Author Bio:
I’m a retired UK lawyer who has been writing for most of my life. I live in the middle of old England with my wife of 37 years and a talkative budgie. Two grown up children, both married.
Bit of a loner, I’m afraid. I practised law (practised and practised until I got it right LOL) as a sole practitioner, for most of my career. That involved a lot of writing, but the wrong sort. You can’t write imaginative material when drafting a legal document or instruting counsel (a barrister, or advocate in the UK higher courts). As soon as I had the time I began to write short fiction, just for pleasure. Then the internet came along….
Hobbies and interests (besides writing) include reading, amateur archeology, history, dousing and other way-out pastimes, visiting old churches and other buildings.
