Despite all these feelings, I turned to humor as my coping mechanism and my best form of therapy. It helped me diminish some of those emotions and kept me sane in the midst of chaos. I know there is nothing funny about cancer unless you have a sense of tumor, but it can certainly help you heal. Your primary focus is to beat it, but while doing so, laugh with it, otherwise, it will kill you. Once you overcome cancer, you become sassy, unstoppable, and fearless.
