Featured Interview With Author Rick Blaine and Jack Llewellyn

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I am an author living in Swansea in the UK. I grew up in the Wye Valley in Mid Wales. My heroes were Anthony Hopkins, Dylan Thomas, Richard Burton and several Welsh rugby players.
For years I had dogs and started an animal rescue centre on a farm I owned with my wife.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I started writing books 25 years ago based on my experience recovering from drug addiction and alcoholism 38 years ago. For most of this time I was a business development advisor to the pharmaceutical industry, and before that in the British police. In 2016 I moved to Morocco to start Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. What I discovered about this country’s links to drugs, terrorism and organised crime led me to write the trilogy: (a) Drug Clouds Over Morocco – Casablanca Revisited. (b) The Street Children and the King – Rescuing Lost Souls, and (c) Villains and Victims – The Global Drug, Terrorism and Organised Crime Conundrum. Moroccans were responsible for the terrorist attacks in Barcelona, London, Brussels, Paris, Madrid, significantly with 9/11 and organised crime in Belgium and Holland.

My first book, Surviving Addictions was a memoir published by Chipmunka in 2008.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favourite authors were Raymond Chandler and Scott Fitgerald and my favourite genre in fiction was crime. Now I only read factual books about nature, evolution, geology, astonomy and spirituality.
I have been inspired by Gandhi, Mandela, Mother Teresa, Joel Goldsmith, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer and Marian Williamson.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest is Villains and Victims – The Global Drug, Terrorism and Organised Crime Conundrum published in 2023 describes the background to Europe and North Africa's terrorist attacks based on visits to each site, interviews with sufferers and puts forward a solution. The trilogy it is part of is being reviewed by Villa Lunera to make a documentary series to be aired by a leading TV network.
It took me six years living in Morocco and experiencing its problems to be able to complete the trilogy..

Featured Interview With Author Patrick Kowalski

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
A bit about myself and our family. The struggle for the family was 100% present in the early years. The process of financial progression I witnessed was definitely a sequence of painful financial moves aimed at always improving the family income, starting from literally nothing.
Born to 2 Polish parents, who immigrated to Thunder Bay, Canada in 1982, Patrick Kowalski's upbringing was mostly in the city of London, Canada, a city that lies about halfway between Detroit, United States and Toronto, Canada. His two freshly immigrated parents came to Canada with nothing but sponsorship, and not even knowing the English language. Within a year of working multiple jobs in Thunder Bay, they saved money while learning the language through English courses and they then chose to relocate to London for Patrick's mother to take up nursing training.

The little bit of savings put away every month were eventually enough after a couple of years for the two of them to buy 2 businesses simultaneously. Two cleaning businesses.
One parent evolved into a working nurse, and Patrick's father evolved to business owner and property investor. These hardworking 1st generation parents were influencers in Patrick's life. They encouraged him to get an education and to get a good paying job as a base to always fall back on. This took Patrick down a technical path of engineering in the robotics field.
By a similar approach of working a few years while also having flipped a couple homes, he was able to take capital funds toward investing a little more seriously on his own.
Patrick had been living for some time in the cute and picturesque town of Port Dover, Ontario when he had finished setting up a successful replacement for his former job. Since then, he has continued the passions of drumming, riding motorcycles in his free time, and water sports.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
As a young child, I got first hooked hard into books and late night reading because of the child horror series Goosebumps in the 1990's. These days, the fiction books I read are typically in Polish, specifically so I can practise my home language, which is somewhat challenging to maintain while living in English speaking lands. The fun part in that is as a grown adult I realized I had so many gaps in my vocabulary, that even at the age of over 30, I had to go back to grade 4 books to help fill in vocabulary gaps before coming back to the young adult books!
This novel, which will be a part of investing series is meant to be a way to provide a step by step roadmap on exactly the steps to do. It took over 6 months of writing and numerous edits, but is my first official publication.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
On the business side of my life, my life's business directions have been not only shaped by my parents, but also by the podcasts and books from a couple of well known financial gurus Robert Kiyosaki, and Dan Lok. They teach sound financial concepts on earning money, and what to invest in. You will find their teachings align with my book series.

Within the realm of fictional works, based on story lines and my own personal interests, Eve Jagger has to be my favorite author lately. This latest series that I've been reading is coincidentally about an entrepreneur but the series is a bit more of a steamy adult version! The series is called Sexy Bastard, whose main character Cash is a boxer figure who starts and operates several nightclubs, with secret underground fights. As he opens and operates these nightclubs, he has a few steamy romances while navigating his businesses and also unravelling love at the same time. Quite relatable for an unmarried entrepreneurial man!

Tell us a little about your latest book?
How did this book come about? It started with a nagging, growing pain point. A fear really. What happens if I lose my job, how long until I find my next one? Holding on to savings was an uncertainty. Will I have enough savings to tie me over or will my savings get murdered?
Have you ever felt, or do you ever feel that your monthly income needs a boost just to help make ends meet? Or to have some extra to save for something special? Have you ever wanted to be able to ditch behind the regular job? Or at least have that OPTION to? This book will give you the power to have another source of income, to have machines working for you, providing either a supplemental income, or replacing all your income, all while you go about your day doing other things. After you read and digest this book, you will have the power to setup these cash flows just by talking to people. WHEREVER there is a need for cash, YOU can get paid for people using your cash machine there. This knowledge, truly is power. Put YOU in control of your finances.

In my search to setup additional cash flows, I was looking for something that could be maintained, and grown in my spare time. Something that has that flexibility. And WITHOUT crazy insane learning curve or insane technical knowledge needed.

Through the knowledge outlined in this book, you will have all the years of industry experience plus the 6 months time it took me to write this book, in one complete resource you need to confidently grow your income. The 8 Checkpoint roadmap, numerous websites and dealers for various equipment, where to find locations, sample contracts and even the contact who will be your frontline troubleshooter in case anything technical should go wrong, and SO much more. Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Texas, but moved out to Colorado a few years ago for medical reasons. I don’t have any pets, but I am in the process of getting a Service Dog.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I think I realized my fascination with books, when I found all of my childhood books in a box, and the memories flooded back. I did not start writing stories until 2015 after a bad break up.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love a good spicy romance, especially Sherrilyn Kenyon, Louise Bay, & Emma Slate. I get inspired by life and my friends and family play a big part in that.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
I started writing Sanctuary while I was hospitalized with a blood clot in my brain. It began as a means for me to cope with trauma and grew into so much more. It’s a fictional representation of a lot of the things I’ve experienced as a disabled author. In it Sienna must learn to cope with her own death and build new relationships with her found family—all while serving blood transfusions to her handsome suitor and other that are seeking justice on her behalf.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born in Chicago, Illinois, but my family moved to Japan when I was 8 so my dad could pursue his dream of becoming a professional golfer. We returned to the States four years later and moved to Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated from Camelback High School and went on to Arizona State University, but I dropped out and joined the U.S. Navy. I retired after 22 years of service, but went back to work after my husband passed away. After I retired once more, I moved to Tucson, Arizona where I live with my sister. I enjoy swimming and going to the movies.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I've been around books for most of my life; I just never realized I wanted to write one until I was much older. Now, I can't stop. I love writing fantasy novels and incorporating scifi, mystery, and thriller elements in each one.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love the action in thriller novels, and one of my favorite authors is James Rollins. I also enjoy a good fantasy novel and Sarah J. Maas is my fave. Michael Collins writes some great police procedural novels, and I also love Louise Penny for a mystery.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
When I wrote this book, I was concerned about the age of my main character, Alex. As an Elf, she's still considered to be a child at twenty years old, but she no long fit into the mortal category of young adult. She has a job in the mortal world as a fashion model and loves it, but she's called home when the Elves need her to investigate a member of the Council of Elders. As her investigation proceeds, she uncovers a dastardly plot by the Star Elves, a rival clan, to steal the gold the Elves had saved for the Golden Harvest, a tribute to the Mentors, the Elf guides. Alex is the only one who can stop it, but how?

Featured Interview With Author Jane E. Chanaca

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I live in Conway, SC, with my husband, John, and mother, Clare. First and foremost, I am a Christian. I taught in PA and SC public schools and stayed home with her sons, Mark and Joel, for their first thirteen years. During that time, she had fun camping, fishing, and doing artwork with her boys (all three of them!) It is here many of the stories for our books come. I also enjoyed reading, baking bread, and sewing. At the same time, the whole family belonged to a living historical farm named Quiet Valley. I have traveled throughout the US, Europe, the Caribbean (extensively), and Kauai with her husband, John. John and I have been married for 53 years. I am happy to live near my sons, their wives, and three wonderful grandchildren! Now we are involved in producing wholesome, beautiful children's books and parenting guides for people to enjoy and learn lessons that we have gone through.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I was an educator for 25 years and was always an avid reader, but it wasn't until I was retired that I decided to write and produce wholesome beautiful children's books with my husband, John. We own and operated MJChanacapublishing. MJChanacapublishing is a family values-oriented publishing company. We had all these stories in our minds and talked about them frequently with our family members and friend. When my mother came to live with us at 92 years old and Covid hit, we had time to write these stories down and start to learn about the publishing business. Now, we publish heartwarming stories that reach out to individuals and family members to educate, entertain, and share positive values. The stories are wholesome and often teach moral and ethical values necessary for a healthy society. I love Beverly Lewis, Karen Kingsbury, Colleen Coble, John Grisham, Gilbert Morris, Nicholas Sparks and Eugina Price. For inspiration for children's books, it is hard to beat Bertice Potter !

Tell us a little about your latest book?
All the books we are doing are about family members, our children/grandchildren, their pets, and adventures. We have done seven books in our FAMILY VALUES SERIES, with seven more to come. This latest book, "Where'd the Moon Go?" is about our granddaughter, Audrey. "Where'd The Moon Go?" is an endearing and true story that will leave your children enchanted and smiling. Immerse your little ones in the beauty of the sky as Audrey's innocent curiosity leads her to cherish the moon in her unique way. With the help of her dear friends, Audrey discovers the moon's magical dance with the sun, its phases, and the gentle cycle that lights up the night.
