Featured Interview With Isabella
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I grew up in a small agriculture town in California that I still call home. You might have heard of it if you read John Steinbeck, but I spend a lot of time in the Sierra foothills. I ride motorcycles, teach college and raised three sons. I love creating, remodeling my cabin and sushi. I love my Jack Russell who is like all Jack Russells, he doesn’t walk, he springs throughout the house and playing fetch is his favorite pastime.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My interest started young. I loved hanging out at the corner liquor store reading the comics. Once I became a teenager, I move on to my mom’s romance books, sci-fi and still kept a stack of comics under my bed. I still have those comics thirty years later.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love fantasy, mystery and genre fictions. Some of my favs are Sherrilyn Kenyon, JR Wards – Black Dagger Brotherhood, Amanda Kyle Williams and a host of others. Who inspires me…honestly readers. The feedback they give me and the support is like no other.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
Blood Honor is the fourth book in the American Yakuza series. Think Soprano’s meets the Japanese Mafia, but this crime organization is headed by a woman, Luce Potter. She’s lives by a code and makes everyone else bow to that code.
