To be loved by Laura Paddick
There is a thin line between love and hate, but there is also a thin line between provocation and
indignity. Amanda Bell oversteps her limits when a new student arrives at her university and gets
under her skin with his infuriating behaviour. Chris Downes will do anything to make her blood
boil, and in return, she will do anything to prove to him that all his assumptions about her are
wrong. Chris might well be the most irritating man she has ever known, and yet, he could be the
only one who can save her from herself…

Laura Paddick has always been passionate about art and storytelling. Growing up, she loved watching movies more than anything else! So, when she was eighteen years old, she studied cinema and theatre at university in Brittany (France) and earned a master's degree. Then she entered an acting competition and won a professional performing course for one year at the Studio Muller, an acting school in Paris.
Driven by her passion for storytelling, at the age of twenty-five she wrote her very first novel in English (which she is currently polishing). She also took part in French writing competitions, and after being a finalist in Prix de la Nouvelle Humoristique Francophone 2017, her first short story “Notre Catastrophe Préférée” was published in “En attendant les catastrophes”, a collection of stories brought together by the association Libres Plumes.
In 2020, Cherry Publishing publishes Laura’s debut novel “To Be Loved”. A heartfelt New Adult fiction, filled with surprises!
In her spare time, she reads many books about emotions, psychology, personal development, and she is fascinated by the human mind.
Laura is bilingual, therefore writes in both English and French.
