Featured Interview With Cynthia Austin
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Cynthia Austin is a multi-published author who lives in Northern California with her husband, two boys, and Olde English Bulldogge named Count Dogula. They love all things horror, gothic, and Victorian which prompts her friends to dub them as “The Adams Family.”
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
As far back as I can remember, books have always been involved. The first book I learned to read was The Monkey and the Bee by Leland Jacobs. I took it to school to brag to my Kindergarten class, but I think I just memorized it.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Christopher Pike will always be my favorite author. My middle and high school days were consumed by his creepy tales.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book was actually an attempt to create a YA horror just like Christopher Pike. It’s called TAINTED LUCK and it’s short, to the point and creepy.
