This is Jacqueline Spencer’s first novel, co-written with M.H. Sargent, a thriller novelist who has nine other novels published to date. Spencer loves all things British and came up with the idea for this novel when Prince William and Princess Kate were expecting their first child. It was public knowledge that William and Kate wanted to have the baby born at the same hospital where William was born. This got Spencer thinking about the “what if” scenario of a baby mistakenly being placed with the wrong parents after birth. Yes, she has an odd imagination.
