Author Bio:
Okay, I admit it: I am a little obsessed with the criminal psyche…
I’ve been reading both true crime and murder mystery thrillers for decades, since I was a teenager, so it seems only natural that I would create my own psychopathic characters, tormented protagonists and devilish scenarios!
I also like to tackle difficult subjects and, as a result, my novels have been described as ‘not for the faint-hearted’, so be warned! I particularly enjoy a thrill ride, a proper roller-coaster of a novel, so try to reflect that in my writing.
Creating fictional characters and setting them running through scenes conjured from your own imagination is exciting too – especially when they choose to do stuff you don’t expect or even want them to do.
My characters seem to come to life as I write – so much so that I was genuinely upset when I had to kill off one of my ‘imaginary friends’! I know – it sounds pathetic, but then again Tom Cruise makes millions pretending he’s someone he’s not…
