I then attended the University of Texas College of Pharmacy at Austin earning a B.S. Ph.. I practiced pharmacy for 42 years.
In 1982 I married the love of my life, Kitty, and we have been married 34 years. We have three children and five grand-children and now live in New Braunfels, Tx. I am now retired and Kitty and I now live in New Braunfels, Texas. Together, we have a passion to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have served on mission trips to Thailand and Columbia as well as traveling to London, France, Tokyo and numerous cities in the U.S.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I have been fascinated with good books since I was in grade school. Most of my early writing was limited to essays and term papers for classes and majoring in pharmaceutical sciences left me little time for writing fiction. My interest in writing for publication began in 2010 but it took me until 2015 to finish my first work, The Prophet’s Secret.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite authors are Brodie and Bock Then and I recently finished one of their trilogies, When Jesus Wept, Take This Cup, and This Man. They are Jews of Christian faith and they are prolific writers. I also enjoy Stephen James and his Patrick Bowers series, Opening Moves through End Game. It would take all day to list every author I prefer.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
Josh Winslow, a former Marine Corp sniper and currently a police detective, finds himself pulled into the cauldron of religious hatred and the politics of “One World Government” because of a secret letter written by the Prophet Jeremiah. His best friend and Bible teacher, Dr. Caleb O’Connor, is determined to follow the clues in the letter to find The Prophet’s Secret, the treasured implements of the ancient Jewish Temple. The Secretary General of the United Nations is seeking Dr. O’Connor’s total destruction along with the Temple artifacts. His most effective tool is a Jihadist, currently posing as Dr. O’Connor’s student assistant who has dreams of a world ruled by Sharia Law. Finding these implements may well open the floodgates for Jews from around the world to return to their homeland, Israel.
The letter from Jeremiah the prophet is actually recorded in 2nd Macaabes in the Books of the Apocrypha. Claims have even been made that the hiding place has been found by one adventurer or another. One such article is posted on the web site http://www.lamblion.com/articles/articles_issues10.php if you’re inclined to look it up.
My desire was to do more than write an ‘Indian Jones’ adventure story, my main goal was to share accurate Bible prophecy and tell a story about Christian men and woman facing dangerous trials while still living their faith and sharing that faith with others.
