My husband and I are the proud parents of one daughter who now has two beautiful children of her own. We were married for 44 amazing years before he passed away in August of 2014.
I have an entrepreneurial heart. Truly, though I have worked for others in the past, I can’t imagine doing so now. My previous entrepreneurial enterprises include multi-level marketing and being the Owner/CEO of a staffing company with five offices, 3 divisions, and in 2 states. After 12.5 years in business, my staffing company failed following the financial crash of 2008. I was absolutely crushed.
Following the emotional and financial loss of closing my business, I spent the next two years doing primarily missionary and service work. This was a truly rewarding time and helped me heal.
Helping others recognize and achieve their potential is one of my lifelong passions. I do this through Mars Venus Coaching and writing self-help books primarily to benefit couples. My interviews with couples around the world about the success of their marriage provides the foundation some of these books. Over the course of the last year I have shared their stories on my blog, reginaatthelake.com. One of my reader’s calls these love stories her “guilty pleasure”.
